Generations of experience and analysis

Collectively our senior management team has weathered decades of booms and market crashes, gaining greater knowledge and keener insight with every investment cycle. This historical experience is combined with sound technical and fundamental analysis and a broad level of expertise across financial markets.

We have professionals with expertise in the activities of independent asset managers, pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, traditional money managers, mutual funds and exchange traded funds. We also have high-level expertise in the ongoing developments in financial regulation around the world and how that may impact markets, as well as specific expertise in Shariah compliant investment solutions.

Philosophy

Advice perfectly aligned with the interests of our clients

Our founders came together because they believe that the investment and wealth management industry should continue to be a positive force in the world. In difficult times and with a battered reputation, the industry has needed people to stand up to restore trust, reliability and integrity, even if that means sometimes taking a contrarian view and disagreeing with prevailing opinions.

At Altaira, our strategy is clear. We provide unbiased advice to clients with excellent service while focusing on the fundamentals of underlying investment opportunities. We are an independent asset management group and keep no retrocessions, rebates or other benefits from third party service providers, such as custodian banks, ensuring that we offer impartial advice, aligned with the interests of our clients.

We believe in transparency in all our business dealings, taking a straightforward approach. Nobody should ever invest in anything they don’t understand. And we charge a single fee for our wealth management services, rejecting complex pricing models, layering of fees and indirect revenue generation. We believe that this transparent approach differentiates us from most other wealth managers today.
